Almost one year ago..

I'm returning over and over trying to correct my daily prayer life, knowing that without prayer and total commitment to God and to my Catholic Traditional Faith there is no salvation.
I need prayer as my daily source of living, but .. alas, there are so many strong temptations like Facebook games or other political preoccupations.. The most important thing is to stay strong and vigilant, to keep myself connected to Faith through prayers. That's why I'm starting blogging again and again.. God keep me praying and blogging.

Prayer to our Lady of Mount Camel ( 7- 15 July)

O blessed Virgin, full of grace, Queen of all Saints, how sweet it is for me to venerate thee under the title of our Lady of Mount Carmel.
It takes me back to the days of the prophet Elias, when thou wast prefigured on Mount Carmel under the form of the little cloud, from which, as it increased, there fell a kindly rain, symbolic of the sanctifying graces that come to us from thee.
Even from the days of the Apostles, thou hast been honored under this mystic title; and today I am filled with joy at the thought that we are united with those first clients of thine, and in union with them we salute thee, saying: O beauty of Carmel, glory of Libanus, thou purest of lilies, mystic rose in the flowering garden of the Church.
Meanwhile, O Virgin of virgins, be mindful of me in my misery, and show thyself my Mother.
Shed upon me ever more and more the living light of that faith which made thee blessed;
inflame me with that Heavenly love wherewith thou didst love thy dear Son, Jesus Christ.
I am filled with miseries both spiritual and temporal. I am straitened by many sorrows in body and soul, and I take refuge, like a child, in the shadow of thy motherly protection.
Do thou, Mother of God, who hast such power and might, obtain for me from blessed Jesus, the Heavenly gifts of humility, chastity, and meekness, which were the fairest ornaments of thine Immaculate soul.
Do thou grant me to be strong in the midst of the temptations and bitterness, which so often overwhelm my spirit.
And when the days of my earthly pilgrimage are accomplished according to God's holy will, grant that my soul may obtain the glory of Paradise, through the merits of Christ and thine intercession. Amen.

Novena to Saint Pope Pius the X

Glorious Pontiff, Saint Pius the X, devoted servant of Our Lord and loving child of His Holy ans forever Immaculate Mother Mary, I invoke thee as a Saint in Heaven.

I give myself to thee that thou may always be my father, my protector and my guide in the way of holiness and salvation.

Aid me in observing the duties of my state in life.

Obtain for me great purity of heart and a fervent love of the interior life after thy own example.

Pope of the Blessed Sacrament, teach me to love Holy Mass and Holy Communion as the source of all grace and holiness and to receive this Sacrament as often as I can.

Gentle father of the poor, help me to imitate thy charity toward my fellowmen in word and deed.

Consoler of the suffering, help me to bear my daily cross patiently and with perfect resignation to the will of God.

Loving Shepherd of the flock of Christ obtain for me the grace of being a true child of Holy Mother Church.

Saint Pius the X beloved Holy Father, I humbly implore thy powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Sacred Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for my spiritual and temporal welfare.

I recommend to thee in particular this humble particular petition ..

Great Pontiff, whom Holy Mother Church has raised to the honor of our altars and urged me to invoke and imitate as a Saint, I have great confidence in thy prayers.

I earnestly trust that if it is God’s Holy Will, my petition will be granted through thy intercession for me at the throne of God.

Admirable Saint Rose, thou were truly a sweet flower blooming on a rugged soil;
thou were indeed a rose among thorns, bearing with meekness and patience the stings of envious tongues,
and preserving perfect purity and modesty amid the alluring blandishments of a deceitful world.
To the sufferings inflicted on thee by others, thou added the voluntary tortures of fasting and watching, of the discipline, of the crown of thorns and of the hair shirt, to subdue the flesh and to make thyself like to thy heavenly Spouse.
By the merits which thou have thus gained with thy divine Bridegroom, obtain for me the grace to bear my afflictions with patience, to remain pure and modest, to be meek and humble, to be faithful to the inspirations of the Holy Ghost, and so to mortify my passions that I may be ever more pleasing and acceptable in the sight of my dear Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Who liveth and reigneth in union with God the Father Almighty and the Holy Ghiost, on God forever and ever. O Martyr invincible, who, for the honor of God and salvation of souls, did with firmness and constancy withstand the impiety of Herod even at the cost of thine own life, and did rebuke him openly for his wicked and dissolute life; by thy prayers obtain for us a brave and generous heart in order that we may overcome all human respect and openly profess our faith in loyal obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Divine Master.

I.

O most powerful Angel, thou who art my Guardian, I beseech thee, by the sovereign hatred thou hast for sin, because it offends God, Whom thou love with a pure and perfect love, obtain for me a sincere and lasting sorrow for my sins, and an implacable hatred against all sin, of what kind soever, so that I may never more offend my God, till the last moment of my life.

II.

Most mighty spirit, my Angel-Guardian, I pray thee, by that supreme felicity thou dost enjoy in seeing God without a veil, even whilst watching over me, obtain for me grace to walk without ceasing in the presence of God, so that I may live a perfect Christian till my last breath.

Saint Michael the Archangel, I consecrate to thee my soul and body. I choose thee as my patron and protector and entrust the salvation of my soul to thy care.
Be the Guardian of my obligation as a child of God and of the Catholic Church as again I renounce satan, his works and pomps. Assist me by thy powerful intercession in the fulfillment of these sacred promises, so that imitating thy courage and loyalty to God, and trusting in thy kind help and protection, I may be victorious over the enemies of my soul and be united with God in Heaven forever. Ninth Day : Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Sorrows
O most holy Virgin, Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ: by the overwhelming grief thou experienced when thou witnessed the martyrdom, crucifixion, and death of thy Divine Son, look upon me kindly, and awaken in my heart a tender sympathy for Our Lord’s sufferings.
Grant me a sincere detestation of my sins, so that free from undue affection for the passing joys of earth, I may set my sights higher on the eternal joys of Heaven.
May all my thoughts and all my actions be directed towards this one great goal:
Honor, glory, and love to our divine Lord Jesus, and to the Holy and Immaculate Mother of God. Amen

Prayer to our Sorrowful Mother for a particular grace

Most blessed and afflicted Virgin, Queen of Martyrs, who didst stand generously beneath the Holy Cross, beholding the agony of thy dying Son; by the sword of sorrow which then pierced thy soul, by the sufferings of thy sorrowful life, by the unutterable joy which now more than repays thee for them;
look down with a mother’s pity and tenderness, as I kneel before thee to compassionate thy sorrows, and to lay my petition with childlike confidence in thy wounded Sorrowful Heart.
I beg of thee, O my Mother, to plead continually for me with thy Son, since He can refuse thee nothing, and through the merits of His most sacred Passion and Death, together with thy own sufferings at the foot of the Cross, so to touch His Sacred Heart, that I may obtain my earnest and humble prayer petition (pause and pray)
For to whom shall I fly in my wants and miseries, if not to thee, O Mother of mercy, who, having so deeply drunk the chalice of thy Son, canst most pity us poor exiles, still doomed to sigh in this vale of tears?
Offer to Jesus but one drop of His Precious Blood, but one pang of His adorable Heart; remind Him that thou art our life, our sweetness, and our hope, and thou wilt obtain what I ask, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross

By This Sign We Shall Conquer The Enemies of Our Salvation

The Savior of the world hung on the wood of the Holy Cross: Ecce lignum Crucis, in quo salus mundit pependit (Behold the wood of the Cross, on which hung the Savior of the world. (Adoration of the Cross, Good Friday Liturgy.)

The Cross of the Divine Redeemer was displayed prominently on street corners and in the nooks and crannies of every village in Europe during the era of Christendom. There is no "expiration date" on the Cross of the Divine Redeemer's relevance to the life of any man or of any nation. We must lift high the Cross in our own daily lives and we must plant it firmly in the soil of our nation without any apology whatsoever as Catholicism is the one and only foundation of personal and social order.

We must also remember that Our Lady stands at the foot of her Divine Son's Most Holy Cross in every true offering of Holy Mass just as she stood at the foot of the Holy Cross on Good Friday. She stands with us as we bear our own crosses in our daily lives. We must, therefore, seek the assistance of the Mother of God in lifting high her Divine Son's Holy Cross in our daily lives, praying as many Rosaries each day as our states-in-life permit.

The cross is ever present in each of our lives, and for this we must say with Saint Francis of Assisi, Deo gratias! Penance is the path to Heaven. We do our penances by carrying our crosses with gratitude. Isn't it great to be a Catholic?
